Our first impressions of people last even if we have evidence our first impression wasn’t accurate. The first few minutes we meet someone sets a tone we never forget. We are built to judge people immediately based on appearance, tone, and whether we feel comfortable around us. Like many things about us, we evolved that way for self-preservation. If someone is a threat, we want to avoid harm. If someone is beneficial, we want them around. Typically, we choose people to be around who we like and find comforting.

People make the mistake of thinking Taurus can tolerate anything. They have very high patience levels, and they're constantly focused on nurturing and caring for other people. They understand that we all make mistakes and say and do things that we shouldn't. They believe in forgiving and moving on. They also understand that some things are better off being ignored and it's not worth their energy to engage. People wrongly believe Cancers can’t be mean. Quite the contrary, they can be the meanest person in the room. Cancers are focused on relationships, love, and nurturing. If they love you, congratulations, but also be careful not to upset them. The people who they love the most have the potential to upset them the most, and they won't just let bygones be bygones. They will stick around and make your life a living hell if they feel like it. They remember every transgression, no matter how slight it was the entire time that you've known each other.
